About survival kits

TITAN PPE survival kits pack fire and food into compact, tin-packed kits built for bug-out bags, car kits, camping and emergency preparedness. Start with the TinFerno fire starter kit, add the TinTackle Pro survival fishing kit, or step up to Fish Buddy for a watertight case with a built-in reel. Every kit is shelf-stable for years and small enough to live in your pack, glovebox or camp box.

Which survival kit should I choose?

  • TinFerno Fire Starter Kit — 100-piece fire starting system with a ferro rod, char cloth, wax rope tinders, fatwood and stormproof tinders in a weather-sealed tin.
  • TinTackle Pro Survival Fishing Kit — hooks, lures, fly bait, salmon egg bait, leaders, line, weights and a mini finger reel in a compact tin.
  • Fish Buddy — watertight case with a built-in line reel and removable storage compartment; includes the complete TinTackle Pro kit; blue or olive green.
  • Build a complete kit — pair TinFerno with TinTackle Pro or Fish Buddy for fire and food in one bag.

What is in the TinFerno fire starter kit?

  • 1/2 in × 6 in ferro rod — 3,000°F sparks, rated for 20,000+ strikes; works wet, windy or cold.
  • Char cloth with tin — catches a single spark and carries it to flame.
  • 24 wax rope tinders — waterproof, each burns 10+ minutes.
  • Fatwood, fire cubes, wick roll, jumbo fire cords and stormproof fire plugs — backup tinder for damp wood and harsh weather.
  • Fire-starting guide — five layered methods and 150+ fire starts per tin.

What is in the TinTackle Pro fishing kit?

  • Assorted hooks in multiple sizes for a wide range of fish.
  • Soft bait lures, paddle tail lures and handmade fly bait for trout, bass and panfish.
  • Salmon egg bait for streams and rivers.
  • Leaders, pre-cut line, weights and sinkers ready to rig.
  • Mini finger reel — fish without a rod.

Built for freshwater rivers, streams, ponds and lakes. The components do not expire.

Why carry a survival kit?

Fire means warmth, cooking, clean water and signaling. Fishing means food when a trip runs longer than planned. A tin-packed survival kit waits for years in a bug-out bag, glovebox or camp box, ready for power outages, storms, hiking, hunting trips and road trips. Keep one in every vehicle and every pack.
