FENNEC DARKLINE X500 | 105° Rotating Work and Search Light

The X500 combines a bearing-mounted rotating head, adjustable spot-to-flood beam and detachable magnetic tail for inspections, equipment maintenance and search work. Direct the beam where it is needed, secure the light to steel and keep both hands on the task.

CONTROL THE ANGLE

The head rotates through 0–105° and holds the selected angle. Use it straight for perimeter checks, at a right angle clipped to a vest or pocket, or angled into engine bays and confined work areas.

ADJUST THE BEAM

Rotate the head slightly right and extend the zoom for a focused search beam. Rotate slightly left and retract it for broad illumination during close-range work. Adjust the beam to the task without changing lights.

HANDS-FREE POSITIONING

The magnetic tail secures the X500 to suitable steel surfaces on vehicles, equipment and structural beams. Position the head to illuminate the work area. Remove the magnet when magnetic mounting is not needed.

DIRECT CONTROLS

• On / off: hold the side button for about ¾ second
• Work and Low: single-click to switch between Work (350 lm) and Low (50 lm)
• High and signal modes: double-click for High (1,000 lm) → Strobe → SOS
• Battery check: the button indicator shows charge for 3 seconds at power-on: steady green 75–100%, flashing green 50–75%, steady red 25–50%, flashing red under 25%

REPLACEABLE POWER

A replaceable 21700 lithium-ion cell supports battery changes during extended use. The battery ships in the box, separate from the light. Once it is installed, charge it through USB-C or carry a compatible protected spare. The charging indicator flashes red while charging and turns steady green when full.

BUILT FOR FIELD WORK

The 6061-T6 aluminum body is hard-anodized and sandblasted, with IP67 protection and 1.5 m impact resistance. A 304 stainless-steel pocket clip provides a secure carry option. The 20 W laser-excited white light delivers 6000–7000 K cool-white illumination.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should I do before first use? The battery ships in the box, separate from the light. Insert it with the polarity shown, close the tail and charge the light before use.

Can I use a spare battery? Use a compatible protected 21700 lithium-ion cell and follow the polarity marking.

Can I use it in wet conditions? Keep the charging-port cover closed. Do not operate the controls underwater.

How should I use the magnetic mount? Mount it on a clean, suitable steel surface and check that it holds before releasing the light. Avoid positions above people or equipment where vibration could dislodge it.
